Description

A spicy and creamy pasta dish with tender Cajun-seasoned chicken.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning and cook in olive oil until done. Slice into strips.
  2. Boil pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté bell peppers until tender.
  4. Add heavy cream, Parmesan, and garlic powder. Stir until smooth.
  5. Toss in cooked pasta and chicken. Mix well.
  6. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning for more or less heat.
  • Substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for lighter texture.
  • Add mushrooms for extra flavor.
